Social change lawyering: what, who, how

6 Mar 2015

Can law and lawyers deliver social change?  This question, and the meaning and role of social change lawyering more generally, was the topic of an interesting panel discussion at the recent Law and Society Conference hosted by the UQ Law School in December 2014.  The discussion aired this week on ABC Radio National Big Ideas and features legal experts Patrick Keyzer, Paula O'Brien, Mary Anne Noone and Simon Rice: http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/bigideas/social-change-lawyers/6263756

The panel discussion was organised by UQ Pro Bono Centre under the leadership of Centre Director Monica Taylor and with research assistance provided by UQ law student Sian Littledale.
