Welcome to the inaugural UQ Law Week hosted by the BEL Career Services Team from Monday 10 to Thursday 13 May.

Bringing you four days of law-specific events and activities, Law Week 2021 will help you build your employability so you can approach your career goals with confidence.

Whether it's finally getting a professional headshot or tailoring your CV for law firms – it will be covered at Law Week 2021. Plus, dive deeper into what the profession is like beyond graduation with a number of Q&A panel events featuring esteemed guests and alumni.

These events are suitable for all current undergraduate and postgraduate law students at UQ. Panel events are suitable for current UQ students looking to transfer into law.

Monday 10 May 

Harry Jonas - Your Emerging Future

Join a live discussion with an international environmental lawyer who works on conservation effectiveness within protected areas. Harry will speak about the benefits of the traditional legal career track, but also the limitations for people who want to use the law towards more innovative, social or environmental ends.
