This competition is focused on international commercial law and mediation. Legal practitioners and business leaders who are skilled in dispute resolution within international commerce are highly sought-after.  Participants will be required to exhibit their negotiation and mediation skills in a realistic mock international commercial dispute.  In a series of competition rounds over two days, competing teams represent two sides of a commercial dispute, with members assuming the roles of the Client and Counsel. The final round will take place on day three.

Teams are mediated in the competition by professional mediators and are adjudicated by a senior panel of ADR practitioners. Find out more from the APCMC website.

This team will be mentored by academic staff, practitioners and senior mooting students.  Up to four students will be selected for this team.

This year's competition will be held on 30 August – 1 September 2020 on a virtual platform. The winning team of the Asia-Pacific competition will have a reserved place to compete in the 16th Annual ICC Mediation Competition in France, in early 2021.

Applications for the following competitions have CLOSED. Please check back in early 2021.
