UQLS Sport

The UQLS organises a number of social sports teams to play in the many UQ Sport competitions. This includes netball, soccer, touch football, indoor soccer, basketball, and dodgeball. We take expressions of interest at the start of every semester, so make sure you like the UQLS SportSpace Facebook page to stay up to date.

The UQLS also organises the Allens Running Club (which has a walking component to be as inclusive as possible).  They meet weekly - have a look at the Running Club Facebook group to see when and where they are running.

Sport At UQ

If you're looking to get active with the broader UQ student cohort, there are plenty of options available through UQ Sport and various clubs and societies. 

UQ Sport

UQ Sport runs free pick up and play sessions throughout the semester. It's a great chance to be social and exercise at the same time see the Wednesday sports schedule - there's something new each week. And feel great going into each new week with outdoor yoga every Monday morning from 7.45–8.30am. 

You can hit the gym in the Fitness centre, join in one of the many group fitness classes and if you're looking for someone to sweat with, find the perfect fitness partner on the UQ Sport Buddies Facebook page.
