“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” – Confucius

Never having to work sounds great, but how do you know what job you’ll love? While certain issues or subjects might fascinate you at university, how can you figure out whether the actual day-to-day work will suit you?

As part of National Mental Health Week, TCB Wellness is hosting a Personality Profile Workshop and Panel discussion to illustrate how understanding your personality can help in planning for a healthy and successful career.

During the first hour, Dr. Rebecca Michalak of PsychSafe will lead a workshop designed to help participants understand what information your personality profile can give you and how you can use this in planning your career. Registered participants will be sent a personality test in advance of the session and are encouraged to bring it with them to get the most out of the session.

In the second hour, a panel of speakers with both academic and professional expertise will lead a discussion of how to go about find the right job fit and what to look for in seeking out positive workplaces that support positive mental health.

5pm - 6pm – Personality Test Workshop: Understanding your profile can help you find a career that fits

6:15pm - 7:15pm – Panel Discussion: Making Wellness part of your Career Plan

Note: Students can register to attend either one or both sessions.

Light snacks and refreshments will be served between sessions.
