Bridget is the Director of the UQ Pro Bono Centre. She has been seconded to the law school from Caxton Legal Centre where she holds the position of Coordinating Lawyer, General Practice. Bridget has worked in community legal centres and at legal aid for more than 12 years as a solicitor and practices mainly human rights and anti-discrimination law. She has extensive experience in direct client work (representation), law reform submission writing, legal program design and development, community legal education and clinical legal education.

Bridget started her legal career as a volunteer law student at Redfern Legal Centre and has a particular interest in helping students and new lawyers develop the practical skills necessary for quality public interest legal work.
