Robert Milbourne is a mining and resources corporate lawyer who is a Managing Director of Mining Standards International, and an Adjunct Professor at the TC Beirne School of Law.
Named one of the top 40 lawyers in Australia and New Zealand by the Australasian Legal Business Journal in 2012, Robert advises mining and resources companies on matters across the project life cycle. He has acted on many landmark transactions, including the development of the Moatize coal mine in Mozambique, and the development of a major longwall underground coal mining operation in Queensland.
Robert recently advised the PNG Government on mineral sector developments, and is advising the Government of Myanmar on the development of its mineral sector regulations.
