Clare Pullar is an expert in the practice of philanthropy.  She has assisted educational institutions and cultural organisations, over 30 years, to diversify their funding through effective engagement with the community and philanthropies.  For the last seven years she has served as Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Advancement) in the University of Queensland.   During this time alumni and community engagement grew substantially and philanthropic growth grew from under $10 million annually to over $60million. She has chaired the Go8 Chief Advancement Officers Group, served the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) as a speaker at international conferences and fundraising institutes.  She currently serves as a Board member of the Australian Youth Orchestra and is a philanthropic mentor to the Queensland Theatre Company.
