Graduate Certificate in Applied Law

The Graduate Certificate in Applied Law (GCAppLaw) requires students to undertake 8 units (#) of postgraduate law courses comprising 4 units of compulsory courses (Fundamentals of the Common Law and either Public Law or Private Law); and 4 units of electives from Groups 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.

Duration 1 semester full-time (part-time equivalent available to domestic students)
Total units (#) 8 units (#) from the Master of Applied Law Course List comprising #4 from Group 1 (LAWS7936 + (LAWS7021 or LAWS7025)) and #4 from Groups 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 of which at most #2 may be in courses listed in Group 5

Graduate Diploma in Applied Law

The Graduate Diploma in Applied Law (GDipAppLaw) requires students to undertake 16 units (#) of postgraduate law courses comprising 6 units of compulsory courses (Fundamentals of the Common Law, Public Law or Private Law) and 10 units of electives from Groups 2, 3, 4 or 5.

Master of Applied Law

The Master of Applied Law (MAppLaw) requires students to undertake 24 units (#) of postgraduate law courses comprising 6 units of compulsory courses (Fundamentals of the Common Law, Public Law and Private Law) and 18 units of electives from Groups 2, 3, 4 or 5.
