CPD participants receive normal instruction but do not undertake course assessment and cannot use the course for credit towards an award program.

2017 Tuition Fees are $1,870 per course for CPD registration, inclusive of GST. Fees are indexed annually.

Terms and conditions

The University of Queensland rules governing enrolment, course fees and withdrawal policies apply to all registrations. Students studying on a Continuing Professional Development basis are not entitled to use the University’s IT or library facilities, apart from in-library use.

Refund of CPD registration fees

As places are strictly limited to ensure quality, the following refund policy will apply:

  • 100% of the full course fee will be refunded if a registration is cancelled at least 10 working days before the commencement of a course.
  • An administrative fee of 10% of the full course fee will be charged if a registration is cancelled within 10 days of the course commencing.
  • No refund will apply after commencement of the course.

All cancellations must be in writing to the Head of School. Substitutions may be permitted as approved by the Head of School.

Cancellation of event

Courses may be cancelled by The University of Queensland due to insufficient enrolments or other unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs you will receive a 100% refund of the full course fee.

The University of Queensland is not responsible for any expenses (e.g. books, travel, accommodation charges) which may have been incurred in relation to attendance at the course.

Non-award applications

Non-award students receive normal instruction, are required to submit assessment and are awarded results but are not enrolled in a University of Queensland undergraduate or postgraduate program. Students studying on a Non-award basis are entitled to use the University’s full IT or library facilities. The course may be used for credit towards an award program in the future, subject to conditions at that time.

Applications close 31 January for Semester 1 courses or 30 June for Semester 2 courses.  Late Applications may be accepted subject to commencement of course dates.

2016 Tuition Fees are $3,560 per course plus ‘Student Services and Amenities Fee’.
