Movement and exercise are essential to physical and mental well-being, but are not the only components of physical wellbeing. Relaxation, sleep, hydration (try a daily hydration tracker app like Waterlogged or Hydro Coach), and eating well are also fundamental to physical well-being, controlling stress and optimising productivity.

UQLS social sport

The UQLS organises a number of social sport teams to play in the UQ Sport competitions. This includes netball, soccer, touch football, indoor soccer, basketball, and dodgeball. We take expressions of interest at the start of every semester, so make sure you like the UQLS Sport Facebook page to stay up to date.

The UQLS also organises the UQLS Thomson Geer Running Club (which has a walking component to be as inclusive as possible).  They meet weekly - have a look at the Running Club Facebook group to see when and where they are running.
