Prior to commencing her PhD at UQ, Thi worked as a legal practitioner at The World Bank Vietnam Country Office and Baker & McKenzie Vietnam Ltd. She was the Associate Counsel of the legal team who won ‘The World Bank Group - East Asia and the Pacific Regional Award for Team Achievements’ twice (2014 and 2015). Thi holds a LLM degree by coursework from the University of Sydney (AusAid scholarship), and a LLB degree from the Vietnam National University (VNU merit scholarship). She has a particular interest in studies on the relationship between law and sustainable development.
