Bachelor of Laws/Arts student Madeline Price founded the One Woman Project, a not-for-profit organisation educating students about issues of global gender equality. Through the support of her teachers at UQ, Madeline has grown the One Woman Project into a state-wide initiative, delivering in-school programs, public awareness campaigns and conferences to young people across Queensland.
In this video, Madeline explains that gender equality impacts the lives of everyone, across Australia, every day — and how education drives social and cultural change.
"If students were educated in issues of gender equality, we could create the social, political and cultural change to do something about it." - Madeline Price
