Congratulations to Professor Heather Douglas, an ARC Future Fellow in the TC Beirne School of Law appointed to the Australian Research Council College of Experts for 2017.
Law School Deputy Dean (Research) Professor Bronitt said “Heather is acknowledged as a leading authority in her field, and her research has had significant impact in furthering legal knowledge and highlighting implications of legal developments and law reforms in the areas of domestic violence, child protection, Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), sentencing, criminal justice, and Indigenous people. Heather’s research speaks to the high impact of research at the Law School and is an individual achievement which contributes significantly to the esteem of the School”.
