A Human Rights Act for Queensland

In March, three students researched and wrote a comprehensive submission in support of the introduction of a Human Rights Act for Queensland. Law students Keilin Anderson, Courtney Pallot and Tom Mackie researched and drafted a submission that received academic support and input from Associate Professors Peter Billings, Tamara Walsh, Dr Melanie O’Brien and Dr Rebecca Ananian-Welsh. The submission (number 449), in response to the Legal Affairs and Community Safety Committee’s inquiry, can be read here.
