Disability Health Research Community Roundtable (Toowoomba)

Share your ideas for improving disability health in rural Queensland with UQ experts at our roundtable event.

We invite people with disabilities, their allies, parents, and/or families to collaborate with researchers in health, law and business, to identify problems and brainstorm solutions.

What to expect

• Arrive at 9.30am for a 10am start, with regular breaks throughout the day.
• Look forward to lots of discussion, working together with leading researchers from UQ and your community allies.
• See the personal experience of individuals who have teamed up with ParaSTART, BUSHkids, and other diverse ability programs.
• Hear from Paralympian Darren Thrupp.
• Community members will be remunerated for their time.
