Alistair Blenkin is the Founder and CEO of Hyra iQ – a digital contracting platform for retail and commercial leasing. He developed the platform through a start-up accelerator iLab here at the University of Queensland, and has worked tirelessly pitching his idea, and chasing entrepreneur and small business grants to bring his vision to fruition.

But before being a game-changing legal tech founder transforming the way lawyers and their property clients negotiate and execute contracts and agreements, Alistair was learning his craft as a vacation clerk and graduate lawyer, before joining the property team at Minter Ellison.  It is here that his understanding of property transactions, clients and their problems, and how to mitigate risk was grounded, and how he came to see the gap in the market that his technology now aims to fill.
