About the speakers

Rebekah LovelyRebekah Lovely

Rebekah studied law in order to make the positive change that she wanted to see in the community. She completed her Bachelor of Law at the University of Queensland in 2013. She went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology that same year. Later that year she was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Rebekah’s expertise was recognised when she was named as a Finalist in Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards in the category of Best Regional/Suburban Lawyer of the Year in 2017. The following year she was recognised again for the excellent work she does when she was named as a Finalist in Lawyers Weekly Australian Women In Law Awards in the category of Best Senior Associate. This year, Rebekah has also received a nomination for Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30.

Georgia CampbellGeorgia Campbell

Associate - Intellectual Property | Thomson Geer 

Georgia completed her Bachelor of Law at the University of Queensland in 2015.

Since graduating, Georgia has climbed the ladder at Thomason Geer from Paralegal to Associate in the Brisbane Intellectual Property, Technology and Regulatory Team. A journey which has seen her recognised by Doyle's Guide as a 'Rising Star' in Intellectual Property & TMT in 2018 and 2019, as well as a nomination for this year’s Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30.

Georgia practices in all areas of intellectual property law, including intellectual property and technology disputes, licensing, agreements, confidential information and litigation. Georgia also has experience with commercial litigation, defamation and media law, privacy law, franchising law, and competition and consumer law.

Georgia has been involved in a range of litigation matters in the Federal and Federal Circuit Courts of Australia, as well as the State Court jurisdiction in Queensland (in the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts).

Sarah JudgeSarah Judge

Solicitor | HopgoodGanim Lawyers 

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Law at the University of Queensland in 2015. Throughout her degree, she worked (5+ years) for a chamber of barristers. Since then, Sarah has spent her career at HopgoodGanim Lawyers where her work has seen her secure a nomination for this year’s Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30.
