Topic: The Feminist Judgments Project
Presenter: Professor Rosemary Hunter - University of Kent
This seminar will provide an account of the Feminist Judgments Project, in which a group of feminist scholars have written alternative feminist judgments in a series of key cases in English law. I will describe the genesis, process and outcomes of the project, and reflect on its results, challenges and limitations. The project recently culminated in the publication of Feminist Judgments: From Theory to Practice (Hart Publishing, 2010).
