Do you wonder what your future career holds in store for you?

Well come along to our exciting new ‘A Day in the Life’ series and find out!

Each session covers a different industry so you can get an understanding of career paths relevant to your studies and interests.

The panel consists of young professionals from various organisations. They will discuss and answer questions about their background, their everyday work life, the best parts of their role and the transition to work. Each event will also give you the opportunity to network with the panel.

Panel questions include:

  • What does a typical day look like?
  • What’s the best part of your role?
  • What skills / experience would you advise students to gain?

The session runs for circa 1 hr + time for you to network with the panel & ask questions afterwards. All panel members will only have about 2-5 years experience since graduation, so this could be you in 3 - 5 years time!

The ‘A Day in the Life’ series is presented by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, Student Employability Team (SET) and is designed to help you consider different career paths relevant to your studies. These events will provide you with a valuable insight into the everyday work life of a panel of speakers who were like you a few years ago! The session runs for an hour with time for networking afterwards.

Registration is required for this event. Find out more.
