This practical workshop will provide advice and tips for networking in the legal profession, with the opportunity to practice these newly acquired skills at the Networking Mixer held on Monday 26 March, with legal professionals from a wide variety of careers.

This event series is also an opportunity for students to understand how their enjoyment of particular law courses at university could translate into a satisfying career in industry.

This event is aimed at students in third year and above.

Students need only attend one workshop, as the content is repeated in session 2 on 13 March, 2018.

About Law Student Networking Event

This event series, open to students in third year and above, is designed to help you develop your networking skills, which will benefit you throughout your career. Come learn how particular jobs connect with your studies and the range of work available to law graduates.

Industry participants come from a wide range of practice areas, such as private firms, government, not-for-profit organizations, and the bar. Participants include Jones Day, Level 16 QuayCentral, Level 27 Chambers, Quinlan Millar Treston, Suncorp, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Government Solicitor, and many others.
