An invitation to expand your horizon in three minutes to hear from the BEL Faculty’s PhD students presenting their theses in a snappy and engaging three minute presentation as part of the BEL Faculty’s Three Minute Thesis Final competition.
All academic and professional staff, and students (undergraduate, postgraduate and research) are welcome to attend and will have the opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice winner while the judges deliberate on the Faculty winner who will go on to compete in the UQ-wide competition.

About UQ 3MT Competition
The Three Minutes Thesis 
competition celebrates the exciting research conducted by Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students, and cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
