The UQ Pro Bono Centre is a Law School initiative where we link volunteer students and staff to non-government organisations in our community that need legal and related assistance.

The needs that our partner organisations present will often go beyond the legal system. Many of our projects have required the skills of allied health, economics, communications, and other disciplines within the UQ community.

In this information session, we will let you know what the UQ Pro Bono Centre is, what we do, and how your school could get involved. We welcome staff from all disiplines outside of law to attend this session.

This info session will be held via Zoom. Upon registration, you will be sent a link to the Zoom meeting.

The UQ Pro Bono Centre is a nationally recognised leader in the development, promotion, and provision of student pro bono legal work. The Centre maintains a roster of approximately 600 high performing students, linking student volunteers with legal services to help with pro bono or public interest matters.

The University of Queensland Pro Bono Centre inspires students to understand the value and importance of access to justice. It is our aim that students graduate from law school with a lifelong professional commitment to pro bono legal service.
