Pasifika Law and Culture Conference

The third Pasifika Law and Culture Conference: After Paris, After Winston – the PACIFIC was held at Victoria University of Welling from the 4th to the 6th of July.

The conference include a student moot, where the problem was set by UQ Law Professor Jennifer Corrin, and the final was judged by Sir David Carruthers KNZM, Professor Corrin and Ata Esera. Congratulations to the winning team, Otago University.

Professor Corrin also presented her paper, Dispelling the Myths of Legal Pluralism, at the conference.

The purpose of the Pasifika Law and Culture Conference was to increase the understanding of Pacific legal issues and to strengthen relationships between Pacific legal scholars and students.
