Paid domestic violence leave: how do other countries do it?

Dr Paul Harpur published an article in The Conversation examining how employers support employees dealing with domestic violence, noting that Canada, New Zealand and the US have made moves to introduce paid domestic violence leave. The article comes amid calls by the Australian Council for Trade Unions for a statutory right to paid domestic violence leave.
