CRISPR Gene Editing Technologies: The legal, ethical, and social implication

UQ Law, Science and Technology Group, recently provided an overview of CRISPR to generate, facilitate and inform public debate around this new genetic modification technology.  The colloquium discussed its possible societal ramifications, and the legal structures surrounding its potential uses and regulation to initiate discussion and collaboration between multidisciplinary experts from law, government.

The discussion was chaired by ABC Radio National presenter Paul Barclay and aired on Big Ideas, ABC Radio National.
