On 24 September 2025, the UQ School of Law’s Research Committee hosted a morning tea to celebrate the School’s research achievements and contributions over the past year. The event recognised the outstanding work of staff whose research has made a significant impact within academia and beyond.

CPICL warmly congratulates our Director, Professor Nicholas Aroney, who received the Research Excellence Award, and Dr Barbora Jedličková, Coordinator of the International and Comparative Competition Law Program, who received the Research Impact and Engagement Award. These honours reflect their exceptional contributions to advancing scholarship in public and comparative law, and to ensuring that research continues to inform both policy and practice.

Their achievements highlight the strength of CPICL’s research community and its ongoing commitment to excellence and impact in the study of public, international and comparative law.
