Further Details: Based in Brisbane, Liz Minchin is a Walkley award-winning journalist and author. She worked at The Age newspaper for a decade, most recently as news editor of The Saturday Age. She has also worked as a media trainer, and co-written a book on bigger-picture solutions to climate change, Screw Light Bulbs.

Liz Minchin is a Walkley award-winning journalist and author, with two decades of experience in newspapers, radio and online. She is now a Senior Editor at The Conversation, based in Brisbane. Liz’s role includes delivering tailored storytelling & public engagement training around Australia, in a new collaboration with The University of Melbourne’s Centre for the Study of Higher Education.
