In case you missed the headlines, sitting is officially being billed as “the new smoking”.

As law students and future lawyers you can’t quit sitting, but what can you do?

TCB Wellness is bringing in the experts for a quick half hour of answers to this question.

Dr Bronwyn Clark, from the School of Human Movement, works on ground breaking research in this field and will join us to share results and recommendations based on the findings of her team’s world leading research in this area.

Cale Thomas, a massage therapist with a degree in Musculoskeletal Therapy, will also be on hand to provide pointers for how to be good to your body during those inevitable hours that you do have to sit.

If that’s not enough to get you thinking about taking care of your heath, students who register are also invited to sign up for a three-minute shoulder and neck massage after the talk.

Light snacks and refreshments will be served after the session.
