Trade Law Forum - 50 Years of UNCITRAL

The TC Beirne School of Law at The University of Queensland, UNCITRAL, UNCCA and the Australia Attorney General’s Department are proud to host the 2016 Trade Law Forum - 50 Years of UNCITRAL.

The one day Symposium will be held at the Supreme Court Library on the 2 December 2016, commencing with a welcome reception on 1 December at Old Government House, QUT. Presenters will include international and local speakers as well as members of UNCITRAL.

The University of Queensland Law School has been involved with UNCITRAL Working Group meetings in New York and Vienna since 2011, and will be presenting a symposium on 2 December 2016 to celebrate 50 years of UNCITRAL, which is formally on 17 December 2016. The Law School is also associated with UNCCA (UNCITRAL Coordination Committee Australia). UNCCA now organises experts and students to attend UNCITRAL Working Group meetings. UQ Law School students have attended UNCITRAL meetings in New York and Vienna in recent years.
