UQ Early Career Researcher Grant
The development of an intellectual property law to protect plants is an international obligation that least-developed countries must fulfil by mid-2021. This project aims to explore the unused policy space in intellectual property law and finally develop a model law that complies with international obligations and addresses local needs of least-developed countries. This project will form the basis for future research that will test the model law for Novel and Native Plant Protection in Asia.
This research is funded by The University of Queensland Early Career Research Award.
