Last night, our resident disability assistance expert Dr Paul Harpur was featured on Channel 10’s The Project. Paul spoke about the lack of regulation around disability assistance animals and the ongoing work to define what counts as an assistance animal.
The segment highlights how parrots, monkeys, kangaroos, horses – and even pigs have been used as assistance animals around Australia and the world.
