Law and business schools collaborate on boosting small business innovation

While the Australian Government has argued for corporate tax cuts, collaborative research by the UQ law and business schools suggests that the largely unincorporated small business sector needs more assistance than tax cuts.

In an article written for The Conversation, Dr Thea Voogt of the TC Beirne School of Law and Associate Professor Martie-Louise Verreynne of the UQ Business School argue that greater simplification of the current stifling tax and regulatory environment is needed to grant small business time to focus on growth and innovation.
