UNSW Private Law Moot
The UNSW Private Law Moot is a prestigious intervarsity mooting competition. Now in its ninth year, the University of New South Wales moot focuses specifically on private law and commercial topics.
Previous problem questions have covered equity and trusts, corporations law and contracts. The UNSW competition will be administered via an online format, taking place over three days between 20-22 May 2023. These will be comprised of two days of preliminary round moots, followed by both the semi-finals and grand final on the third day.
Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed (LAWS1701 Law of Contract I), (LAWS1702 Law of Contract II), and (LAWS2709 Trusts and Equity).
The team will be mentored by academic staff, practitioners and/or senior mooting students. Up to four students will be selected.
