Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students’ (ATSI) Moot

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students' (ATSI) Moot Competition is now open!

This Moot will play a key role in promoting students’ understanding of commercial law and advocacy and provide an opportunity to find out what mooting at university is like.

Students are required to form teams of two advocates. Teams are encouraged to have a third member in the role of researcher/instructing solicitor. Teams will be required to prepare both sides of the argument and provide written submissions to the competition organisers. You can find more information here.

Applications close 5pm Wednesday 28 February 2018.

Requirements: All students who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and are enrolled in a participating university are invited to register for the Moot. Participating students are encouraged to have completed at least two semesters of a Bachelor of Laws degree.
